Endoscopic management of early complications following bariatric surgery

چکیده

Bariatric surgery procedures are increasing exponentially with the obesity epidemic. Early complications defined as those that occur within first 30 days after surgery. Some of most common early leaks, bleeding, stricture or stenosis and bezoar, all which can be diagnosed treated endoscopically. Upper endoscopy has been proven to safe in postoperative period different endoscopic modalities, like stenting, clipping, overstitch, among others, part armamentarium endoscopist should have available address potentially avoid morbidity mortality associated re-operation.
